A Quotation is the work of doubling mistakenly the phrases of another.
According to Tony Augarde in his preface to "The Oxford Compendium of Modern quotations" a Quote is an asserting or part of writing that moves folks as so true that they quote it in speech or allude to which I would add or add it to which I would add ``or add it to their private collection''--at least this is the case with many quotations are either famous in their own right or utterances by [ generally speaking ] someone famous.
A solid Quote is one that plays up a point about the human or of reality with style and in such a way as to present it in a new light. This initial definition of mine hides any chance that 2 folks will agree on what's a solid Quote, but that is realistic. If you can read a specific Quote frequently again, everytime deducing delight and data from the phrases--chances are, that is a solid Quote. solid quotations should be widespread. Post them, write them in .sigs, get them out there. It is my opinion that there are valuable few solid quotations and that they'll should be shared whenever possible. quotations are used for a variety of reasons : to enlighten the meaning or to support the debates of the work in which it is being quoted, or to provide exact information about the work being quoted [ if to debate it, positively or adversely, to pay homage to the first work or writer, to make the user of the Quote appear well-read ]. Quotations are also typically broadcast as a technique of inspiration and to bring up philosophical thoughts from the reader. A lot of quotations are customarily wrong or attributed to the inaccurate writers, and quotations from obscure or unknown writers are typically attributed to far more famous writers. Examples of this are Winston Churchill, to whom a lot of political quotations of uncertain origin are attributed, and Oscar Wilde, to whom nameless funny quotes are occasionally attributed. Deliberate misquotation is also common, though this is typically not spotted, generally because the misquotation is better known or because the misquotation better fits a situation.
